Limitations, caveats, bugs
Here are the known limitations and bugs that affect StarterSet
Add Old-Style Comment and Convert Comments buttons don't appear or don't function in PowerPoint 2000 and earlier.
This is by design. PowerPoint 2000 and previous already create old-style comments on their own. There's no need for this function. These versions don't recognize new-style comments so they can't convert them to old-style comments.
Please note:
StarterSet makes PowerPoint perform tasks automatically. Because of this, StarterSet may be affected by bugs in PowerPoint. An add-in can't correct flaws in PowerPoint itself, though wherever possible we try to include workarounds for known problems.
Sometimes we just have to live with problems until Microsoft fixes them.
