Hardware Requirements
PPTools add-ins don't require a hefty computer. If your PC can handle the PowerPoint files you typically work with, it's powerful enough to use PPTools add-ins.
Office/PowerPoint and Windows versions
PPTools add-ins work with these WINDOWS versions of PowerPoint:
- PowerPoint 365
- PowerPoint 2021
- PowerPoint 2019
- PowerPoint 2016
- PowerPoint 2010
- PowerPoint 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or later
Most of the add-ins work with either 32- or 64-bit PowerPoint.

How do I know whether I have 32-bit or 64-bit PowerPoint?
PPTools add-ins are compatible with Windows XP through Windows 11, including Windows 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and up.
PPTools add-ins will NOT work in:
- "Web-app" versions of PowerPoint (if you're using PowerPoint in your browser, it's a web-app)
- Office 2010 Click-To-Run (Office 2013 and 2016 Click-To-Run are fine)
- PowerPoint 2003 and previous
- Macintosh, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android phones/tablet versions of PowerPoint
- Any of the supported PowerPoint versions listed above running in Windows under Parallels/Fusion/Bootcamp on MacOS
- And should work under any of the supported versions of PowerPoint listed above running in Windows under an emulator or virtual machine in any operating system
- In short, if your system can run any of the supported Windows PowerPoint versions, PPTools add-ins should work as well
PPTools add-ins have free fully functional demo versions that allow you to test them thoroughly. If the demo works well for you, so will the purchased version.
