Can I move my custom settings from one computer to another?

To move custom settings from one computer to another, there are Save Settings Wizards for

If you have trouble with these links, type "Save Settings Wizard" into the search box on http://www.google.com

These may not work for moving settings from one version of PowerPoint to another (as you might like to do if you upgrade from one to another).

PowerPoint stores information about your menu and toolbar customizations in a *.PCB file.

It seems that the file format has changed between PowerPoint 2000 and PowerPoint 2002; even if you rename your old PPT 2000 PCB file to the correct name for PowerPoint 2002 (PPT10.PCB) and copy it to the correct folder, PowerPoint 2002 still won't use it.

It's worth reading up on the Save Settings Wizard, but it may be simplest in the long run just to re-customize your new copy of PowerPoint.
