In Acrobat 5 and 6, your login name is used as the Author field in Notes by default. To change this behavior:
- Acrobat 5: Choose Edit, Preferences, General then click Commenting
Acrobat 6: Choose Edit, Preferences then click Commenting
- Acrobat 5: Remove check next to "Always use Identity for Author name"
Acrobat 6: Remove check next to "Always use Log-in Name for Author name"
- Rightclick a note, choose Properties, set the properties as desired (including Author name) then click Close.
- Rightclick the note again, click Make Current Properties Default
