In Acrobat 4 and 5, several of the tools are on "fold out" tool buttons. For example, there's the Graphics Selection tool. It folds out from the Copy Text tool. Fold out tool buttons have a small arrow in the lower right corner of the button. Click and hold each tool to see the extra tools available.
