32-bit, 64-bit ... what's this all about?
32-bit / 64-bit ... which do I have? Some PPTools add-ins will NOT work in 64-bit Office versions.To see which version of Office 2010 you have:
- Start PowerPoint
- Click File
- Click Help
- On the right side of the Help pane, beneath About PowerPoint and next to Version it'll say either 32-bit or 64-bit
To see which version of later versions of Office you have:
- Start PowerPoint
- Click File
- Click Account
- On the right side of the Account pane, click About PowerPoint
- In the About Microsoft PowerPoint window that appears, it'll say either 32-bit or 64-bit at the end of the first line of text.
