What's new in Office 2019?
As of Fall, 2018, Office 2019 is available.
As with Office 2016 (and unlike Office 365) Office 2019 will receive security and bug-fix updates, but will not get updates that add new features. If you want to stay on the cutting edge with all the latest features, you might want Office 365 instead.
Office 2019 is an update to 2016 that adds quite a few of the new features that were added to Office 365 since it was first released.

- Morph Transition
- Zoom
- Text highlighter
- Insert SVG graphics
- Convert SVG icons to shapes
- Insert 3D models
- Easier background removal
- Export to 4k video
- Recording: video/audio/digital ink
- Draw or write with digital ink, including ink effects, segment eraser and ink replay
- Straightedge for drawing straight lines/aligning shapes (primarily for touch screen devices)
- Funnel charts
- 2D map charts
- You can use your Surface or other Bluetooth pen to advance slides during a slide show
