Cannot access online pictures in PowerPoint
Problem
When attempting to insert clipart or sign in to your Microsoft Account from within PowerPoint, you see the following message:
Sorry, we are having temporary server issues.
And you cannot insert Microsoft's online clipart.
You may see the same message when inserting clipart or signing in to Microsoft Account from Excel or Word.
Solution
These steps have solved the problem for some users:
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Choose Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
- Click Reset
- Restart your computer when prompted.
- Give Office a bit of time to install any needed updates after you restart
