PowerPoint 2007/2010 won't print equations
Problem
You create an equation using the Equation Editor in PowerPoint 2010. It looks good on screen but it won't print correctly, or resulting PDFs are incorrect. Only some of the characters in the equation print (parentheses, fraction bar, for example.)
Solution
If you use Windows XP, try these steps:
Start | Control panel
Double-click Regional and language options
Click the Languages tab
Put a check next to Install files for complex script
Click Apply
Close the dialog box, restart PowerPoint and try printing again.
