What MPG formats can PowerPoint play?
Thanks to PowerPoint MVP (and multimedia guru) Austin Myers for this one:
Mpeg-1 can be used freely, (as long as it meets the redbook specifications)
Mpeg-2 requires that you install a DVD decoder (codec) as DVD codecs do NOT come with Windows.
Mpeg-4 (or later) can not be used in its native form in PowerPoint and you will need to convert it.
