When you include :Nav.Map: in your template, PPT2HTML will search for each action button on the slide and on the slide's Master.
It produces a client-side clickable image map for the :Slide.Image: image in the HTML file.
Bottom line: the clickable action buttons in your PowerPoint presentation turn into clickable buttons in the HTML version that PPT2HTML produces.
You should include :Nav.Map: in your template before you include any :Slide.Image: links
If you're using a :Nav.Map: to produce an image map, you should always specify your :Slide.Image: dimensions in pixels, not percents, else the links won't work right.
See What about the links in my original presentation for a more detailed explanation of what happens to each different type of action button in your PowerPoint presentation when PPT2HTML converts it to HTML.
